A bequest is like a donation which you make after you have died. In your last will and testimony you specify how you would like your assets to be distributed. Many people choose to leave money to charities after they die.
If you are considering making a bequest, then please consider St. Basil’s in your will to support the good work of our charity. Some of our renovations have been funded by bequests. Activities and care for financially disadvantaged have been funded by generous bequests. Landscaping our aged care facilities, purchase of new equipment, even decoration of our chapels have been funded by bequests.
Making a bequest to St. Basil’s will help us continue to provide high-quality care and support to older Australians now and into the future.
A bequest can be in the form of a specific amount or as a percentage of your estate, or you may prefer to donate items of value, it’s important to choose an option that best suits you.
As a registered charity, St. Basil’s must use all collected donations for the purpose of providing aged care, so you can be confident that your bequest will go where it is needed.
